Book Bag Giveaway Hosted

Sunday, August 20 was a hot but beautiful day at St. James School for over 100 guests. RAH (Ridge Allegheny Hunting Park) hosted a Book Bag Giveaway for families in the Allegheny West Neighborhood. Over 90 children were accompanied by parents, guardians and friends for an afternoon of fun and relaxation. Guests were greeted with a barbecue, games, music and face painting. RAH President, Rosalie Cooper, and her advisory board planned a day that will certainly be remembered as a celebration of unity in the neighborhood and a commitment to quality education. The group included future St. James School students and several community leaders and St. James School Board members.
