St. John’s Church (Glen Mills) Service Day

The Rev. Dr. Michael Giansiracusa, Associate Rector of St. John’s Church, Glen Mills, PA, accompanied parishioners to Allegheny West for an introductory presentation about the work at St. James. In addition, the group provided a helping hand with preparing our campus for the upcoming City Camp Program and Camp St. James. Executive Director Dave Kasievich provided insight about the Achievement Gap in Philadelphia and how St. James School was planning to address the educational needs of the surrounding neighborhood. Parishioners from St. John’s ended the day with several hours of manual labor. Both St. James School and St. John’s Church ended the day with excitement about what appears to be a great partnership.
