Our mission means we serve those most in need. Because of this commitment, less than 6% of St. James School annual operating budget comes from student tuition. The Annual Fund provides support for daily operational costs so, every gift to the Annual Fund, no matter the size, touches the life of a student and matters.
From early morning when students arrive until early evening when after school programs end, during the summer months and even sometimes on weekends, St. James School is a place where students can escape the impact of poverty, where alumni will find they are always welcome and where families are supported through challenging times. Your Annual Fund gift today will help sustain a safe, caring educational community—a sanctuary in the midst of neighborhoods where families are impacted by poverty, crime, and violence.
Your Annual Fund gift will ensure that we offer enriching programs that make St. James School unique. These programs—like art, music and dance, athletics and out-of-school activities—complement the rigorous academics of the classroom and support our commitment to educating the 'whole child.'
Meaningful Giving
You may designate your gift in two ways. An unrestricted Annual Fund gift is used where it is most needed. A restricted gift is a designated donation to meet a specific need that you may wish to support—such as the arts, after school, Camp St. James, the Scholarship Fund, or Athletics.
Your gift to the Annual Fund can take on special personal meaning when you choose to make it in honor or in memory of someone special, or to celebrate a special occasion.
