Post-Secondary Pathways

Empowering Graduates for Their Next Chapter

Graduates pursue a wide range of post-secondary pathways, including college, technical training, and early career opportunities. We provide ongoing exposure to these options as graduates explore their interests and goals over time. When they move through high school and beyond, graduates get individualized guidance with applications, decision-making and resources needed to pursue their chosen path.

Higher Education and Aid

We meet with rising 12th graders and their families to review personalized plans for education beyond high school. We identify options based on the student’s interests, grades, extracurriculars, PSAT scores, and more. We also work closely with families and high schools to navigate and apply for financial aid and scholarships. This includes guidance with need-based grants/loans through FAFSA and PHEAA and gap scholarships provided by St. James.

Partner Colleges and Universities

Our college and university partners share our goal to improve attendance and completion rates for students who are the first in their families to attend college. These partners coordinate with Graduate Support to provide accepted St. James students with enhanced services and a lower financial burden. Current partners include Harcum College, Holy Family University, and La Salle University.
