Adult Education at The Welcome Table offers free and low-cost classes for adults (18+) throughout the year (see below “Register for a Class”). Many classes are led by community members (see below “Want to Teach a Class?”). Adults of any experience level are welcome. Classes are shaped by the interests, needs, and leadership of our community. This is a place where:

Classes and Learning Opportunities
Digital Literacy (Peer-Led)
- Computer basics, email, and internet skills
- Online safety and cybersecurity
- Peer learning circles and open lab time
- Support for beginners and returning learners
Health and Wellness for Adults and Seniors
- Chair yoga, aerobics, walking groups, and dance
- Stress management and mindfulness
- Nutrition, cooking, and healthy habits
- Social spaces designed with older adults in mind
Life Skills and Enrichment Classes
- Cooking and budget-friendly meals
- Financial and practical life skills
- Creative workshops and special topics
Book and Film Clubs
- Monthly book discussions
- Film screenings with group conversation
- Opportunities to connect through stories and shared experiences

Class fees are pay-what-you-wish. We invite you to contribute what you can. Your support helps sustain the program and serve more neighbors.

Want to Teach a Class?
Everyone has something to teach and something to learn. We believe learning works best when teachers come from the community. No formal teaching experience is required. If you have a skill, idea, or experience to share, we’d love to support you in leading a class. It can be a one-time workshop, a short series, or a peer learning space.
