Music & Choirs
We Praise God with a Wide Range of Musical Selections
Our church is blessed to have two choirs and a newly renovated pipe organ. Singing and listening to music is part of every Mass, deepening our connections to each other and to the divine. Sacred music in many styles is shared to praise God while soothing and lifting our spirits.
Community Mass Choir
The St. James Community Mass Choir is made up of professional singers and volunteers. This choir sings during the 5:00 pm Sunday Mass. Musical selections range from traditional Anglican chant to modern Gospel anthems and everything in between.
Interested in becoming a volunteer singer? Email Vanessa Lambre at [email protected] or just show up at the Church for rehearsal at 3:00 pm on Sundays.
Student Ambassador Choir
The Student Ambassador Choir is made up of St. James School students in Grades 4-8. Led by Vanessa Lambre, this choir sings during the 11:00 am Friday Mass. Additionally, on the third Sunday of the month, the students join the St. James Community Mass Choir to sing together during our 5:00 pm Sunday Mass. The student choir occasionally sings at some of our partner churches. The students rehearse after school.
