Community Events
Our Church Hosts Events for the Entire Community
Seasonal celebrations and special events complement our regularly scheduled fellowship dinner and Family Third Sunday event. Twice a year, we invite students, families, and neighbors, volunteers, donors, supporters, and friends of the Community of St. James to join us on campus for a festive afternoon together. Occasionally, we offer a concert, talk, tour, or other special event.
Fall Festival
Our Fall Festival in October features food, games, and fun for all ages. It has a harvest theme with pumpkin painting and a Halloween treat hunt in the churchyard.
St. James Day
St. James Day, our spring festival, likewise features food, games, and fun for all ages. It celebrates the feast day of St. James the Less, and takes place on the Saturday closest to May 1st.
Stay Tuned for Special Events
Whenever we have something new to offer or share, we host a special event. These have included concerts, talks, workshops, and guided history tours.
When an event is scheduled, we announce it on our social media pages, on this website’s calendar, during church services, and with handouts or notices at places the St. James community gathers, such as The Welcome Table’s Saturday Farmers Market.
