In January 2015, the school was excited to be filmed for part of a BBC special on food. As part of the Vetri Foundation for Children since 2014, students have been enjoying a new way of eating and learning about healthy food habits. BBC Newsround presenter Ricky Boleto visited St. James School in North Philadelphia to show how we are working to effect the food crisis in our area, which is rife with obesity, diabetes and many other health problems that could be better handled through better eating.
