St. James School is pleased to announce that it has received a $25,000 grant from Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Philadelphia Region (RMHC). This grant will fund technology in the classroom, including iPads equipped with educational tools for students.
“We are incredibly thankful to RMHC for their investment in our Technology Program. In today’s increasingly connected world, it is vital that our students master not just math, reading and science, but also digital literacy.” says Head of School David Kasievich.
Reverend John Dawkins, a local McDonalds owner in North Philadelphia, stopped by St. James’ Opening Doors Ceremony to officially present the school with the grant check. Dr. Audrey Evans, co-founder of the first Ronald McDonald House and co-founder of St. James School, accepted the check along with Principal Laura Hoffman-Dimery, Head of School Dave Kasievich, and Board Chair Father Sean Mullen.
