The Episcopal School in North Philadelphia

The campus was filled with activity at the April community service day. Roughly 25 volunteers came from four churches to volunteer their time as tutors while others worked on special projects throughout the campus.

Group included:

Trinity Episcopal Church (Gulph Mills)

Split their time between tutoring and preparing the school’s garden for new growing season.

St. Thomas Church (Whitemarsh)

Youth and adults shared roles outside doing yard work while others worked with students at our monthly academic clinic. Joe Ingersoll worked on our brand new chicken coop.

St. David’s Church (Wayne)

The St. David’s Hammer and Nails Fellowship completed their fall fence project by staining the wood.

St. Mary’s Church (Ardmore)

Provided homework help and specialized academic support.

Warm temperatures and sunny skies meant lots of spring cleaning. It was a great day to be reminded of just how vital volunteers are to the maintenance of our campus and school community.
