The Episcopal School in North Philadelphia

In preparation for our Thanksgiving feast, two 6th graders worked with Mr. Kellner to prepare 10 turkeys for the St. James community. Mr. Kellner taught the students how to defrost, season and prepare the turkeys. Their hard work paid off Tuesday evening!

At our feast, we welcomed over 130 students, family members and friends to celebrate Thanksgiving as a school community. Through the generosity of Saint Mark’s Church (Center City), St. Asaph’s Church (Bala Cynwyd) and several other friends, every family went home with a turkey, a heaping bag of Thanksgiving food and two pies! In total, we shared and provided a thanksgiving meal for over 250 people!
