On the evening of June 15, St. James School held its annual Volunteer Appreciation Picnic in the Cottage Yard. The delicious meal which included multiple courses was entirely catered by The Reverend Andrew Kellner, a long time volunteer himself. More than 30 volunteers, staff and faculty of St. James School gathered to enjoy the food and fellowship.

Volunteer and Church Relations Manager Nicole Green awarded certificates of achievement to each volunteer in attendance as a sign of gratitude on behalf of the entire St. James School community. These awards included the Motivational Mentor Award for volunteer mentors who have been dedicated to the success and support of his or her student and the Green Thumb Award for our dedicated volunteers who keep our campus looking beautiful with plants and flowers. An astounding eleven volunteers were awarded the St. James Service Award for volunteering over 100 hours of service to our school and students.

It was a wonderful event that continued to remind all of us at St. James School that our mission would not be possible without the tireless commitment and support of our volunteers.
