The Women’s Legacy Fund winter sports clinics for girls at William Penn Charter School attracted an energetic crowd. All told, about 20 girls from St. James School and William Penn Charter participated, and many of them stayed for the Q&A session with Penn Charter’s soccer coach. Girls from St. James School also participated in the day-long basketball, softball and rowing clinics in which girls learned more about athletics, fitness and Penn Charter academics all around. The clinics were organized by the Women’s Legacy Scholarship Fund and proceeds benefit the fund that has grown since 2011 and supported its first scholar in 2013.
