The first Girls Empowerment Gala was held on Sunday, April 12, 2015, for the female students and family members.
The goal of the gala was to empower our girls and have them leave feeling like they could take on the world. At the event self defense, yoga, self esteem, grilling, tie dye and positive note writing were explored. St. James School parent and local business owner Charisma Warrick was the keynote speaker for the afternoon, and she spoke to the girls about how she accomplished her dreams and told them that if they can dream it than they can do it.
