St. James School students enjoyed an inspiring visit to the mural exhibition at Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts (PAFA).
They analyzed murals from all over the city, including a favorite by Peter Pagast and Jane Golden’s Peace (a wall which can be found at 29th & Wharton Streets in North Philadelphia).
When asked what they thought the artist was trying to suggest, 7th grader Cordell Patterson said, “They’re trying to tell us that no matter the color of your skin we should all get along to make the world a better place.”
