It has been an unusual year, to say the least! We applaud the perseverance of every student in the Class of 2020. They finished their final year at St. James School by working hard to attend classes online and complete their assignments despite extraordinarily difficult circumstances.
We look forward to hosting an in-person 8th grade graduation when it is safe to do so. But we couldn’t let their originally scheduled graduation day go by without congratulating them. On June 12, our staff came together for a jubilant, socially distanced, celebration parade – surprising graduates at their homes to share good wishes and treats.
Once more !! St. James is wonderfully creative in addressing the interrupted graduation rituals with a parade past each of the student’s homes.
The balloons- colorful signs- decorated cars could only bring smiles not only to the students- but were shared as well by the others in the family who have been supporting and encouraging their student!!!
CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THE GRADUATES!I
Thank you Ann! We were so happy to celebrate our 8th graders!
Congratulations and best of luck to the class of 2020.
Thank you Ms. Ayres!
These eighth graders worked hard! They’ve shown their creativity, problem-solving skills, compassion and gifts!. They are individuals that we hope will continue as part of the St. Jame leadership community!!
